After the 1st EP release, which is download-able for free here, finally we are going to work on the 1st Album. It was Andre Harihandoyo who offered me to be the Executive Producer for the album, and i had a hard time thinking before i finally said "yes". The band will get a new management team, from Warehouse Music. All recording and promotion expenses will be covered by the record label. All we have to do is just, play. Play, and let the management do the rest. So i finally decided to continue pursuing my career under Warehouse Music Management. The 1st album title will be "Welcome To The Real World", if you're curious where it was taken from, try listening to John Mayer's No Such Thing (my favorite song, obviously) and listen carefully to the very first lyrics he sung. Yup, that's it. "Welcome To The Real World" also means that this album is the introduction of me to the world of musical industry, as it's going to be my 1st debut album. It will include 10 songs, 2 are remakes from the 1st EP (which are, obviously, Songs For January and Not In Love), 2 old songs which i wrote back then at senior high school, 1 songs in Indonesian language, and 2 new songs. In this album, i will also collaborate with 3 other featuring guitarist in 3 different new songs. Not only they're my good friends, but also people that i look up to. They are, Andre Harihandoyo (from Andre Harihandoyo & Sonic People), Gerald Hiras Situmorang (from Sketsa Duo & BAG Trio), and Iga Massardi (from The Trees And The Wild). So that makes it 10 songs. Just like my 1st EP, there will be 1 instrumental song, and especially for this album, i invited Gerald Hiras Situmorang (from Sketsa Duo & BAG Trio) to do the feature with me in this song. If everything goes well, the recording will start next month (July 2010) and hopefully the completion and release is around December 2010 or maybe early 2011.
